Lets concentrate on the league (I bet a few of us said this after our teams lost in the FA cup over the weekend).

I support Leeds, so I tend to say this most years, BUT there is a lot to be said about focusing on the most important goal for your team.

This year it is definitely promotion for Leeds, other years it has been (unsuccessfully) a cup run to bring in much needed cash (to help fund a promotion push).

It’s the same for businesses and development teams. Focus on the thing that brings the biggest benefit, if that means focusing on an interim goal, then do this.

Don’t try to do everything and spread yourselves too thin though, else you may be doomed to spend years in mid table mediocrity.
