Eventually your body will start to fail, you will slow down and eventually come to a dead stop,

when this happens it will take you a while to get going again!

Anyone that’s met me will know (just from looking at me) that I have never run a marathon in my life. From what I’m told though, you pace yourself if you want to finish one.

Projects can feel a bit like a marathon and as much as we try to make them small and manageable, the reality is that quit often they are not.

Especially if you are starting with a blank canvas, so

๐Ÿ”ธkeep the pace realistic
๐Ÿ”ธTell your team know how far they have come
๐Ÿ”ธMake sure they know how far is left to go

Look after your team, they are the reason that you will deliver, the plan/roadmap is just a tool.
